| Rules! Do's Obey Perseu and Elitesword and eliteswords alt char SwordyaxeOn forums and game. Try and get you're friends to play WoW and use our forum. Use all unnecesary language out of forum, game. If you're brother/sister uses the forum GIVE EM HELL!
Dont's Dont Use any form of Innapropriate language on forum, ingame. Dont Abuse the forum for spamming etc.etc. Meh, Dont even think about stealing info from this site, putting them on ur other site cause if you are making a guild. This is from Fixxa: | Fixxa wrote: | Due to the increase in players this means a lot more tickets obviously so please read this set of rules to make all our lives a little easier in dealing with some issues you may encounter while playing.
Be sure that you are doing the quest correctly. This means check www.wowhead.com or www.thottbot.com on the quest name and see what it says there. If after doing this you are convinced you are doing it correctly and the quest is bugged then please make a ticket. Please also be aware that some creatures are not in the exact place that thottbot or wowhed say they are but are in fact on the server in a slightly different place and can be found by the player looking around a little.
The ticket should contain the full name of the quest and also a description of the issue you are having with it. Tickets like "the really long quest chain in the barrens is broken" or "I need a totem" will be deleted as there is no information in either sentence to help the Gm's at all.Players should also check their in game mail if they have submitted a ticket as in many cases the issue can be addressed in a mail.Submitting a ticket and going offline is also not going to help you get your issue sorted out in a timely fasion.I accept that in some cases a player will make a ticket and then have to go offline but in recent days 95% of tickets submitted have been offline when a GM tries to deal with it.For our non european players as we do not have a GM in those time zones currently, obviously this is a little difficult and you should continue to submit tickets and hopefully there will be a GM online to help at some point.
Also if and when you whisper a GM it is polite to say "Hello" at least before you go into the issue you have. The basic rule being that GM's are people too and think how you would like to be spoken to.I for one do not blame GM's for ignoring rude or demanding people that say something like "hey this quest is bugged" or " yo i need help" just like that from nothing. Please also remember that the GM might be already dealing with a player when you speak to them and so may not answer you immediately or ask you to wait a few minutes while they finish what they are doing.Spamming the whisper with ????? after 2 seconds is not going to get you helped any faster, in fact it will probably take longer as the GM may well think "he can wait a while and learn some patience" The basic rule is think to yourself, would i like it if someone spoke to me like that?
Please help us to help you by following the above, as it only takes a minute or two to check the internet for information on quests etc. |

Follow these rules at all times. Breaking them can and will most likely result in a forum ban! |
